After having been cut, the wind yōkai is told by Nurarihyon that he should give up. Nurarihyon asks why he, a yōkai from Shikoku, attacked him. However, Muchi disappears just as Yura arrives at the rooftop. Calling out, asking Nurarihyon where he is, Nurarihyon shows up and tells her that the one who attacked them is gone like the wind, which Yura does not believe as the building starts crumbling. She then gets frustrated that she couldn't defeat him, cursing herself for her perceived weakness. Nurarihyon cheers her up, saying that if she didn't arrive at the rooftop, he would've been killed. As she is then relieved, she asks Nurarihyon to eat egg rice with her, though when she looks, he has already disappeared.
Nurarihyon then walks to Nattō Kozō, who tells Nurarihyon that they must get back before they get scolded by Karasu Tengu. Nurarihyon tells Nattō that he will not return to the Nura House and tells him if he gets there that he must tell them, but changes his mind and asks Nattō to come with him.
Elsewhere, Rikuo and the others are getting back home after Kiyotsugu's long talk about yōkai. While walking, Tsurara asks Rikuo about that night with Kana while he was in his night form. The two girls soon get into a face-off which is then broken by Rikuo questioning both of them. Suddenly, a a mysterious person approaches Rikuo. Rikuo asks if they've met before, to which says that he is just like him. As he turns to leave, the other person with him licks Kana's face, which results in her hiding behind Rikuo.
As the group stands back, the two strangers leave with the heads of the Hachijūhakki Yakō.
