Leaves of Tamazusa is a manga-exclusive divine technique of the Baketanuki. The user can call leaves and make another person silent.

OriginEdit

The technique came from a legend about an Emperor called Sutoku that drifted off from the capital towards Sanuki and died. Hearing the mournful call of the night gale, he was reminded of the capital and became choked with tears[1]. When the night gale heard the story, he felt sorry for him and the leaves that wrapped around its throat to seal away his own voice, comes from the Tamazusa Tree[2].

Usage Edit

This technique was also demonstrated by Inugamigyōbu Tamazuki in the Gokadoin House Arc whereby he conjured a vortex of leaves that surrounded him and his adversary. Should the adversary ever come in contact with the leaves, the leaves are said to "change it's colour" from autumn brown to crimson red as the leaves emit poison that renders the veins of the adversary bursting profusely. The one who was conceded by this technique was Nagachika Gokadoin of the Gokadoin House.
