Koremitsu Keikain (花開院 是光, Keikain Koremitsu) is the older brother of the 13th head of the Keikain house, Hidemoto. Though he studied and trained for 28 years as the direct descendant of the family, he was ultimately passed over as head in favor of his younger brother. He primarily acts as a guard for Yōhime against the various yōkai seeking to eat her liver and gain power, and even gives her a taimatō (demon exorcism sword) with which to defend herself. He is utterly devastated that his barrier isn't enough to prevent Yōhime's capture at the hands of Hagoromo Gitsune's subordinates. He accompanies Hidemoto to Osaka Castle, as the latter wishes to watch the battle between Nurarihyon and Hagoromo Gitsune, and they arrive in time for Hidemoto to assist in her defeat.
Koremitsu is responsible for recording the events of 400 years ago, including the defeat of Hagoromo Gitsune and the retreat of her followers, and the resulting fall of the Toyotomi family. Interrupted from his writing by loud sounds from a few rooms over, he discovered that Nurarihyon's forces were holding a victory party in the Keikain main house, with Hidemoto's approval. Dragged into the festivities, Koremitsu receives the sympathy of several yōkai due to his studies having come to naught - and unsuccessfully tries to get the entire group to leave.
The following morning, when he resumes writing, he vows never to allow Nurarihyon into his house ever again with teary-eyed frustration. The yōkai party-goers of the previous night had written "bald mister baldy" on his head.
