Kichijirō (吉次郎) was a friend of Kubinashi's when the latter was still human and appears in one of the stories from the third novel. Along with Seisuke, they formed a trio of chivalrous thieves.
After the three were caught in an attempt to rescue Shiragiku and their captors utilized yōkai to kill them, Kichijirō died by having his head crushed by an enormous yōkai.
