Jirō Shima (島 二郎, Shima Jirō), more commonly just referred to as Shima, is Kiyotsugu's underling who has been supporting him since they were kids. He is one of Rikuo's classmates and also a member of the Kiyojūji Paranormal Investigation Squad. It is shown that he has a light crush on Tsurara.
Synopsis[]
Gyūki Arc[]
Shima and the Investigation Squad travel to Mt. Nejireme to see yokai. He and Kiyotsugu get possessed by Mezumaru into seperating Rikuo and Tsurara.
Shikoku Arc[]
Shima and the rest of the Investigation Squad went on staying at the Nura mansion. There, he had seen and felt the auras of the yokai around the household. During one of their patrols regarding the recent destruction of shrines around the town, they encountered Sodegemori. He kicked his soccer ball towards the yokai just as before Kiyotsugu looked around and eventually, be cursed. He along with his friends made origamis and offered it to Senba's shrine for Natsumi's healing.
