Nuregarasu is the wife of Karasu Tengu and mother of Kuroumaru,Tosakamaru and Sasami. She is shown to be a very beautiful, albeit extremely violent woman who lives alone on Mt. Takao and does not fail to scold her husband and children when they come home, which is once every year. She seems to think of family as a very important thing, as she scolds her children for not thinking of their family much, saying that though they live at the main house, their home is on the mountain. Sometimes her calm demeanor often scares people including her husband, Karasu Tengu.

Synopsis[]
New Year's Arc[]
Her husband Karasu Tengu, and along with the three siblings Kuroumaru, Tosakamaru and Sasami return's home to Mt. Takao to meet her during the new year. The three siblings watch in shock as she beats up her husband, their father, and drunkenly complains about how they never visit. In a special OVA episode 1, she appeared at the end along with Setsura.She was seen reading out the letter that was sent from Tsurara to her mother. Finishing the letter, Nuregarasu handed the letter to Setsura.
