Hiyoshi Gongen (日吉権現) is a shrine located in Japan's Ōmi Province which Yoshidano Shosho Korefusa and Hanako visited to pray for a child. It was said to have long been associated with miracles. In the present day, it is known as Hiyoshi Taisha (日吉大社) and enshrines the guardian deity of Mount Hiei, Sanno Gongen. It is located beside Lake Biwa, north of Kyōto. Ōmi Province is an old name for an area which is now part of Shiga Prefecture.
