Tsuchigumo, Returning Home (土蜘蛛、故郷へ帰る, Tsuchigumo, Kokyō e Kaeru) is chapter 193 of the Nurarihyon no Mago manga written by Hiroshi Shiibashi.

Synopsis[]

Recognizing Yura as the Onmyōji girl from the battle in Kyoto, Tsuchigumo opts to take her with him as a guide on his journey home, to Aso. There, he intends to bathe in an onsen to restore his current number of arms to their original quantity - 6. A pair of lesser Keikain onmyōji report Yura's abduction to Ryūji, who grows irritated over the news. Mamiru states that Yura will manage somehow, as it is best for the rest of them to remain in Kyoto for the sake of the city's protection. As the other onmyōji haven't noticed the ominous and intense fear rolling across the sky, Ryūji points it out to them.

Aboard Takarabune, Dassai muses over the ship's current lack of manpower and Rikuo's change in attitude. Tamazuki questions the wisdom of Rikuo having left his subordinates with yōkai leaders who don't seem to be entirely on his side, but Rikuo assures him that his subordinates' current roles are essential. He recalls the scene that took place prior to their leaving, where he issued orders to various members of the Nura Clan in preparation for the upcoming cleansing.

Elsewhere, inside the Gokadoin Barrier, an unnamed Gokadoin man orders Tenkai, Yuiyui and Yasutada to begin the cleansing of the yōkai remaining in the western part of Japan. Additionally, Orochi summons her massive, multiple-serpent shikigami, which descend from the skies across Japan. Tsuchigumo and Yura, having just arrived in Aso, are stunned by its solemn and desolate appearance - and are soon faced with Hiruko atop one of the serpent shikigami.
