To Mount Osore... Part 2: The Gokadoin House (恐山へ...その②/御門院家, Osore-zan e... Sono 2: Gokadoin-ke) is chapter 186 of the Nurarihyon no Mago manga written by Hiroshi Shiibashi.

Synopsis

The group take a short break at Tōno's sweet shop Atagoya. While everyone eats, Akagappa brings out a collection of books in which are recorded Tōno Village's oral history. The ones of particular interest are those recorded during the Edo period, which contain information on the Gokadoin House. He then introduces the books' writer, Fukuruma Yōbi, who is subsequently tasked with explaining why the boy Rikuo and Itaku encountered looks so much like the one in the Gokadoin picture.

She explains that the picture and accompanying story would have been from a much older tradition than the group had originally thought, making the boy they encountered about 400 years old. Continuing, she narrates Abe no Seimei's goals, including his research into a technique which enables the user to prolong his life. With this added information about the Gokadoin House, Akagappa grows fearful that he could easily be killed by the Gokadoin's immeasurable power and states that he doesn't want to get involved in the matter. Rikuo, however, is dead-set on his path and declares that even if he must walk the Path of Shura, he will do it in order to defeat Seimei.

Elsewhere, Seimei himself muses over his ideal "thousand-year demon capital" and how his recovery has taken a surprisingly long span of time. He states that until he is fully recovered, he'll leave maintaining the world's purity to his descendants.

Rikuo, Tsurara and Ryūji begin their trek up Mount Osore, with Itaku trailing after them, and the group suddenly find themselves surrounded by what they believe to be Shugenja. One, wearing gloves bearing the Gokadoin's heptagon symbol, calls forth the dead to attack Rikuo's group.
