Ajara Enbu (戲演舞, Ajara Enbu) is chapter 177 of the Nurarihyon no Mago manga written by Hiroshi Shiibashi.

Summary[]

The battle against the Hyaku Monogatari Clan continues. At the clan's underground headquarters, Enchō talks with Sanmoto's Brain, who is conveying Sanmoto's thoughts from hell. Though Sanmoto is growing anxious over how many of the Hyaku Monogatari Clan's forces have been defeated, Enchō reassures him that everything is still going as planned.

Meanwhile at the Nura Clan's main house, the battle between Kubinashi and Tamasaburō wages on. Tamasaburō is able to read Kubinashi's actions and dodge his techniques accordingly, all because of the "script" attached to the Ajara Enbu technique. Kubinashi becomes frustrated as Tamasaburō's technique isn't all that great by itself - but within its borders, it grants Tamasaburō significant power as the "leading actor". After critically injuring Kubinashi, Tamasaburō turns his attention to Wakana, who pulls a gun from her bosom and shoots him. She explains that Tamasaburō's technique likely makes him weak against adlibbing, adding that as the wife of a yakuza household, she's always wanted to do something like shooting an enemy.

Wakana's words and actions cause Kubinashi to remember how she had managed to pull Rihan from the longstanding sorrow he had carried following Yamabuki Otome's disappearance. In particular, Kubinashi recalls the first time he saw Rihan genuinely smile since then, and it had been due to Wakana. Kubinashi's fighting spirit returns and he uses his string to immobilize Tamasaburō before the latter can kill Wakana - who he declares to be Rihan's treasure and light.

Elsewhere, at Fukagawa, Rikuo et al. have arrived at what was once a mansion belonging to the Sanmoto family, which they have determined to be the Hyaku Monogatari Clan's current base of operations. Rikuo, Tsurara, Itaku and Ryūji then begin their invasion.
