Professor Adashibara (化原先生, Adashibara-sensei) is a yōkai researcher and novelist whom Kiyotsugu greatly admires. He is a middle-aged man with a seedy look to him, surrounded by an eerie atmosphere. He is manipulated by Mezumaru in order to lure the Kiyojūji Paranormal Investigation Squad to Mount Nejireme.
