Mitsume Yazura (三ツ目八面, Mitsume Yazura) or Sanmoto's Brain (山ン本の脳, Sanmoto no Nō) is a member of the Nura Clan and chairman of the Three-Eyed Party. He is opposed to Rikuo becoming the third head and was responsible for giving Maō's Hammer to Tamazuki. After the battle between the Nura Clan and Tamazuki's forces, Yosuzume returns it to him, calling him "Sanmoto Gorōzaemon" and it is revealed that his face is actually a skin-like mask.
The current Mitsume Yazura is in fact Sanmoto Gorōzaemon's brain; the whereabouts and status of the actual Mitsume Yazura are unknown, but Shiibashi hints in the character databook that the Mitsume Yazura who appeared during the Gagoze incident was the real one. As Sanmoto's Brain, he is able to both hear and convey the thoughts of Sanmoto's original body in hell. Unlike the other Parts of Sanmoto, who consider themselves to be only a part of him, the Brain is often referred to as Sanmoto himself. He is also the key component in the Hyaku Monogatari Clan's plan to resurrect Sanmoto as a "messiah", in order to crush the Nura Clan. However, the plan to resurrect Sanmoto failed when Enchou betrayed the clan by backstabbing (and thus fatally wounding) Mitsume and turning the body (that should have been Sanmoto's new vessel) into Youkai Ao Andon. When Rikuo, Tsurara and Itaku destroyed Ao Andon, Mitsume (under control of Sanmoto) ate the remains and Sanmoto was revived, only to be killed by Nura Rikuo soon after.
