Amezō (雨造, Amezō) is a Numakappa (swamp kappa) from the Tōno Village with a lizard-like appearance. He is usually responsible for cleaning the bathrooms, until Rikuo arrives and is assigned the duty. Though he had never been beyond Tōno's borders prior to joining Rikuo's group, he somehow still knows things about the outside world - as a result, he is a fan of Kubinashi (or rather, a fan of the Joushuu No Gentsatsushi Kubinashi). He's the type of character who takes things at his own pace. He seems to like Kappa, probably because they are of the same youkai species.

- Numagappa Ninpou Doronuma Jigoku ("Numagappa ninja-art sludge hell") this technique unleashes a wave of sticky muddy sludge and is capable of disabling an opponent but as seen in the fight against Tsuchigumo if the opponent is strong enough the technique can only hold them for a few second at best.
